They say it takes a village to raise children, and now that I have my own, I completely understand the sentiment. But I didn’t realize that it also takes the amount of stuff in a village to raise children. Kids grow so quickly, and their sizes and interests are always changing. It can feel really hard to keep up with it all. Enter Mommy’s Market.
Before I even had kids, all of my friends recommended Mommy’s Market.
Mommy’s Market is an event BY local families, FOR local families. They have 300+ local families selling their gently used maternity, baby, and kids items. You can find everything from clothing and shoes, to books, toys, games, and puzzles. They even have equipment and furniture. Everything is organized by size, so shopping is easy. When you get to checkout, Mommy’s Market accepts Mastercard, Visa, or cash for easy checkout.
Mommy’s Markets has three events each year, so you can stock up or sell when it is convenient for you. The fall event is happening September 27-28.

Admission is $1 cash at the door September 27th 9 a.m. – 3 p.m. and Sunday, September 28th 2:30 p.m. – 5:30 p.m.
Presales are a great time to shop before the general public and are limited:
- Thursday at 5 p.m. – $22 presale includes a giant Mommy’s Market bag
- Thursday at 7 p.m. – $16 presale
- Friday at 5 p.m. – $8
- Friday at 6:30 p.m. – $4
It is important to note that kids are not allowed at presale unless they are under 9 months old and in a wearable carrier.

Text club often offers first access to presale passes and seller spots as well as discounted presale passes such a BOGO for half price presale. Kids welcome at half price presale.
Want to earn some extra cash?
You can sign up to become a seller with Mommy’s Market! Seller registration for spring begins October 10th. Spots fill up quickly, so you have to be quick to sign up! As a seller, you get to choose the price for your items. You tag items from home and drop off at the event. You do not even have to stay and help! As a seller, you make 60% commission AND you get to shop before anyone else!
Selling with Mommy’s Market is a great opportunity to clear out some space in your home and make some extra money. I am setting all the reminders in my phone so that I sign up as a seller because the process is so easy.
Mommy’s Market has truly become a favorite event for me. I have purchased everything from books and toys to dishes and furniture.
