Hello! My name is Lauren Hall, and I am incredibly excited to be joining ABQ Moms Blog as the new Events Coordinator. My loves include travel, getting my hands dirty in the garden, and drinking coffee with my husband on weekend mornings.

Albuquerque

My husband and I both grew up in Albuquerque and have been here ever since. I have fallen in love with this city many times all with new perspectives. I find it’s an amazing place to raise a family, from the almost constant sunshine, beautiful sunsets, incredible people and of course, my favorite, green chile. I graduated from Cibola, and received my Bachelor’s degree in Marketing from Anderson School of Management. 

Moms

My journey into motherhood began in 2011 when I delivered my son unexpectedly at 31 weeks. My whole world changed in a single instant. I was far from prepared for what was to come with months spent in the NICU and many other hurdles to overcome for that first year. After a second high risk pregnancy, I had my daughter at term. My kids are my heart walking outside my body. Motherhood has been the greatest adventure of my life. Moms are my favorite people, and I love to laugh and cry with them along this crazy journey.

Blog

I have never really considered myself a writer. I am more of a creator who rarely sits long enough to record any of it. I have a garden in my yard, and I tell myself every year that I need to begin my gardening journal for my own records, and to one day pass to my kids. Writing is such a wonderful way to be creative, record your history, and process motherhood. As it stands right now, I’m more of a consumer rather than creator of blogs. I love following blogs about home decorating, gardening and event planning. 

I have been following Albuquerque Moms Blog for awhile now, and I love seeing the Albuquerque community connect and grow in motherhood together.

With a BBA from UNM, Lauren has built a successful career in marketing, collaborating with local companies to promote their brands. She finds true happiness in exploring new destinations alongside her family, savoring the best local cuisine, and seeking out the finest coffee experiences.
