Stress Relievers To Do Daily

Daily Stress Relief

Stress

Life can be overwhelming, schedules can be overflowing, and there just doesn’t seem to be enough time in the day. Lowering your mom stress is a very important part of your health, and guess what? Finding pockets of time to care for yourself daily for stress relievers is doable, and I’ll tell you how!

3 Simple Things You Can Do To Reduce Stress

Here are three simple things you can implement into your daily schedule to help reduce your stress load naturally.

1. Spend time outside. Sometimes this is simply being more focused during the time you’re outside in your day to day life. Albuquerque has beautiful skies and views of the mountains no matter what side of the city you are on.  When you are walking to your car or on the way to taking kids to their ABQ summer activities, each day, be present. Look up at the sky; take in your surroundings. It is so easy to miss all of this. When possible, spend some extra time outdoors. Soak up some Albuquerque sun and Vitamin D, soak up your surroundings, and just be for a minute or two.

2. Deep breathing exercises. This is such a simple and outstanding way to combat stress. Put your hand on your stomach or your chest, close your eyes, take a deep breath in through your nose and exhale out your nose or mouth nice and slowly. You can even teach your kids to do this with you.

3. Gratitude journal. Writing 3-5 things you’re grateful for daily will change your life in a way you can’t imagine. It’s such a remarkable practice. Set a journal/notebook aside just for this and begin writing down 3-5 things you’re grateful for daily. Practice this with the kids before bed to help them build their relevancy and attitude for gratitude as well!
